On Wednesday 10th November will take place in Paris the launch of the Futures of Education Report. An event that can be followed online and will take place in the Fonteney, Room I from 13:30 to 14:30. This launch will present the key ideas and recommendations of the new flagship report to Member States. Also, it will be a great occasion to take forward the debate on the Futures of Education by the global education community and UNESCO strategic partners.
This initiative was launched at the UN General Assembly in New York in September 2019. It was chaired by the President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, H.E. Madame Sahle- Work Zewde and an International Commission of thought-leaders in many areas concerning the Futures of Education. UNESCO member states delagations and Ministers of Education are also invited. The mentioned comission will present “The Commission’s Report: Reimagining Our Futures Together – A new social contract for education” at UNESCO’s 41st General Conference.
